Have Some Fun with Crystal Themed Crafts

For those of you who love decorating your home or sacred space with crystals, here’s a fun affordable craft activity I found online by Mini-eco. You can do this crystal crafting at home by yourself or get your kids involved!

This fun crystal crafts activity will help you discover the geometric shapes found in crystals! It’s also a fun way to decorate your home or kid’s rooms with a crystal theme. Use these colored paper gems to decorate your space with crystalline color! You can also create these paper crystal gems for decor during birthdays parties or holidays.

How to Create Your Own Paper Crystal Gems

Supplies you’ll need:

♥ Paper
♥ Scissors
♥ Cutting board (optional)
♥ Glue stick
♥ Silver/gold metallic spray paint or glitter (optional)

1. View the crystal crafts gem TEMPLATE HERE
2. Print the template file onto a sheet of coloured A4 paper. Repeat for different colored paper depending on how many you’d like.
3. Cut out your gem templates. (Cut along the solid lines. Score and fold the dashed lines).
4. Bond the outer tabs together using a glue stick or your favorite glue to use for paper.
5. If you want to spray the gems for adder sparkle, lay them on an old piece of newspaper and lightly spray the top-side of the gems to give them a more dimensional look. You can spray lightly throughout if you prefer that look.
6. Viola! Display your gems on a table, in a bowl, around a candle or keep them by your other crystals! The possibilities are endless!
