Why Meditating with Crystals Is Awesome
So let’s be honest, how easily can you tune out your mind from worries, fears, chatter and insecurities? More so, how skilled are you at meditation? Throughout the last few years, there has been more and more talk and information online about the benefits of meditation to release stress, to focus your mind, to achieve your goals and to escape to alternate realities.
Years ago, when I was still a stubborn sleeping soul, I remember attempting to meditate to some guided meditations with my hubby. I didn’t understand it’s purpose and I would get cranky sitting there, or worse yet, I would pass out. I didn’t understand this talk about colors and chakras. I thought it was stupid.
Fast forward into my life and once I found out about crystals, all the things about meditation, chakras, colors, energy vibrations… all that, started making sense. My mind was blown away as if an invisible energetic thunderbolt hit me. Some people don’t understand crystals and that’s ok. Because you won’t understand it or anything else in this life for that matter, unless you try it!
I believe that to really explore something that you’re not familiar with, you have to drop your fears and your pre-conceived notions about everything you’ve learned. Give your mind a blank slate and a fresh start, and then new chapters in life will pour forth for you.
Now, anytime I meditate, I love having crystals around me. They’re like energetic snuggle buddies that make you feel whole and balanced energetically. Every person is different and some people can feel their energy and some can’t. But don’t worry, if you can’t feel anything, it doesn’t mean it’s working. However, if you are blessed with being able to feel the crystal energy, I would describe it as a tingling sensation sometimes accompanied by a feeling of heat or coolness. Sometimes you can even feel energy being released if your body starts twitching in certain areas.
All I can say is, TRY IT! 🙂 Learn how to meditate and have a crystal buddy tag along with you. Don’t expect too much and just let anything happen. Drop all worries and pre-conceived notions and new things may open up for you.

*Also, don’t give up if you fall asleep or lose your concentration the first time. I sometimes fall asleep or start thinking about other things and that’s perfectly normal. The key is to keep trying. Practice gives you training. And a trained mind is a focused, conscious and happy mind. 🙂
