Get the Best Crystal Sound Bath at Integratron
– Integratron –
I recently experienced my first crystal sound bath and I truly believe this is hands down the best place to get one! If you could only attend one crystal sound bowl bath in your lifetime, you’ve got to try the experience at the Integratron in Landers, California.
This phenomenal architectural wonder is located in a remote desert town in the Mojave Desert that is situated on top of a the cross section of two positive ley lines. If you don’t know what ley lines are, they’re geomagnetic energy lines that surround the Earth. (Look it up on Google to find out more since there’s so much to discover!) There is no other dome like this in the U.S.!
Integratron: The Only Acoustically Perfect All Wood Sound Dome in the United States
The Integratron was designed by aviation engineer, George Van Tassel, who received spiritual guidance to create an acoustically perfect all-wood building, without the use of metal or nails, for the purpose of anti-aging and rejuvenation (among other things). This geodesic dome is only made of wood, fiberglass, wood dowels and a 1.5 ton cement keystone at the top of the dome, as shown in the photo below. The dome’s center sits atop an energy vortex and when scientists have come to measure the magnetic forces emanating from the center of the building, their devices could not even handle or measure a reading! The geomagnetic forces and sacred geometric shape of the building magnifies the Earth’s magnetic field into a wondrous phenomenon.
Many rock bands, artists, celebs, scientists, astronomers and sound therapists have frequented the Integratron to experience it’s energies, including Jason Mraz, Anthony Bourdain, Charlize Theron and Robert Downey Jr. I noticed many groups of older ladies there as well, perhaps wanting to enjoy the healing and anti-aging benefits of the sound healing!
The Karl sisters acquired the building in 2000 and one of the sisters was the crystal bowl player during my first sound bath experience there. I forgot her name, but she looked beautiful and vibrant! I thought to myself, if I had to play these bowls often for people, I would probably look so youthful too – being around this healing area and absorbing the frequencies of the sound waves so often!
The grounds of the Integratron are artistic, peaceful and calming. There were various art installations throughout the property, places to sit outdoors and even a hammock garden which I enjoyed before the sound bowl session. I felt like I was cocooned in the sleeping hammocks that were in the movie, Avatar!
Upon entering the Integratron, you leave your shoes on the lower ground floor level in cubby holes. The ground floor contains different photographs and exhibits around the inner perimeter of the circular building.
You have to go up a wooden ladder and climb to the 2nd floor where the sound bowl session takes place. Integraton offers blankets, pillows, foam pads and yoga mats to keep you comfortable and warm in case you feel chilly. Surprisingly, for being out in the warm dessert, the grounds and building felt “cool” in temperature.
Integratron is a Crystal Rocker Magnet!
What I loved about the Integratron was the numerous amount of people there who actually brought their crystals along for the sound bath session! I also witnessed a guy bring in his crystal pendulum to measure the energy from the center of the building and this pendulum swung clockwise sooo strongly! I brought my own crystals too for charging and also my travel set of course! I also did a body layout with crystals to amplify the healing effects and I grounded myself with shungite and black kyanite.
The architectural design of this building amplified and magnified the sound waves in no way I’ve ever heard before! It was truly amazing and magical! The center of the building has the most unique phenomenon where the sound you make while speaking or singing resonates and reverberates back into your ears as if you put a giant fishbowl around your head. It’s hard to explain in words. You have to experience it to truly understand and appreciate the experience!
During the sound bath, everyone lies around the center and the sonic bath lasts for about 25 minutes. Afterwards calming meditation style music is played and the bowl player silently leaves the room for you to have your own experience. You can start stretching, do some yoga poses, meditate or just lay there and experience the energies for another half hour.
My Integratron Experience
My personal experiences during the crystal sound bowl bath were nothing I’ve ever experienced before! These were my highlights:
- With my eyes closed, the colors swirling about were vibrant and changed colors depending on the notes played from the different bowls. The colors (primarily violet and blues) moved in spirals along with the music.
- I could feel the energy waves move through my body and it raised my vibration and activated my cells.
- I stayed focused in meditation and started seeing numerous faces fly by like cards being shuffled. Perhaps guides or past life regression phases being exposed.
- The most amazing part of the sound bath session was hearing what sounded like the grandest symphony playing along and then angelic singing after that! There was no additional music being played elsewhere. Only the crystal sound bowl set was being played and it was an astonishing moment to experience!
- Before coming to the Integratron, I thought the sound bath would be too “loud” with so many huge bowls being played and the nature of the building’s shape. However, the sound doesn’t get crazy loud like a music concert blaring sound through speakers. The sound amplification is bearable, soothing and healing at the same time.
- One message that came through to me during the session was that I should focus my blog on my personal crystal experiences and moments of awakening. There’s too many blogs and sites out there that just copy the same “crystal properties” and “crystal meanings”. These properties don’t apply to everyone because everyone’s energetic make-up is different, so true growth and true experience only come with practice and trying different crystals, different healing modalities and self-healing.
At the end of the sound bath session, people started slowly getting up and experiencing the center of the Integratron’s zero-point vortex phenomenon. Some people took photographs and others tried singing while standing in the center of the dome. Everyone seemed so calm, relaxed and happy! Definitely a rejuvenating experience!
Moldavite Lovers at the Integratron
While waiting to experience the vortex area, there was a lady there who wore a large moldavite necklace and I called her out right away, “Is that moldavite?!”. She said yes, and without hesitation, took off this necklace made of all large raw chunks of beaded moldavite and plopped it into my hands. It was like a mini mountain of moldavite in my hand and the energy was aaammazing! I wonder if the energy was amplified even more because we were standing near the center of the dome. It was nothing like just holding one piece of moldavite. I wore my moldavite and diamond faceted pendant during the sound bath session which was tiny compared to what I just held!
At the end of the hour, a staff worker palo santo smudged the interior space, which I appreciated very much. The energy of the building, everyone in attendance and those who worked there were all in high spirits. The Integratron definitely emanates positive healing energy and I can’t wait to go again… for healing, for rejuvenation and to hear those angelic voices again!
