Tanzan Aura Quartz (aka Indigo Aura Quartz)

Tanzan or Indigo Aura Quartz is a lovely blue crystal that was created by alchemizing gold and indium to quartz. When I was first getting into crystals, I was magnetically drawn to aqua aura quartz and indigo aura quartz. There was something about their energy which drew me to them every time I’d see them in my local crystal shop.

There are many metaphysical descriptions and properties of tanzan aura quartz online and in books, but ultimately, each person’s energy is different and the only real way of knowing how the crystal will work for you is to try it out. Wear one in jewelry, carry a piece in your pocket or wear one under your pillow and see what happens during dream time.

Personally, I’ve had amazing vivid and informative dreams when wearing my tanzan / indigo aura quartz pendant. My indigo aura pendant pictured above has a window shaped facet flanked by parallelogram time links on each side! Those properties really help enhance dream work with this crystal.

Have you ever worked with any aura quartz? There is a lot of speculation and controversy in the crystal world about these types of crystals, but I recommend you try one out first before knocking it. Crystals have been modified in a lot of our technological devices and if you read about the use of crystals in ancient civilizations, there was a lot of manipulation done as well to bring out the crystal energy’s full potential.
